"Two years ago I purchased a TraxMax 550 with the mast and sod installer attachments, and it does a great job for my small sod company. If we are doing pallets of sod, we use the mast, and if we are doing rolls, we simply put on the roll attachment. The visibility is awesome and the machine will go almost most anywhere. We are just starting an 80 acre job and the TraxMax will be perfect for it."

"In 2007, we decided to convert our company from pallets of sod to big rolls of sod, and it totally transformed company. We went from 10-man crews to 4-man crews, and have laid up to 21,600 square yards in one day! By reducing the crew size, Swart’s Landscaping has saved money on workman’s comp. and our reduced exposure of transportation of a large crew made retaining insurance easy.
"When we made the switch to big rolls, we looked at the TraxMax as well as other compact track loaders, and decided on the TraxMax because of its great visibility and versatility. Our installers are backing up half the time, so visibility is crucial! We now have 4 - TraxMax 550s and utilize them to their fullest extent – as a big roll sod installer, a rough terrain forklift and a compact track loader. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the sod and landscaping business."

"I own and operate the TraxMax 450 with the MaxAttach System, and in my sod business, I utilize the TM450 to its fullest capabilities. I use it as a compact track loader in grading yards or moving materials around the farm. I use it as a rough terrain fork lift to move sod where wheeled machines won’t go. I also transport the TM450 as a truck mounted fork lift and utilize it in sod deliveries. Lastly, I use the TM450 as a big roll sod installer to quickly lay big rolls of sod in less than a minute! My TraxMax 450 is four machines in one, and a great value. I’d recommend it to anyone in the sod and landscaping business."
